Do you know what fruit and vegetables to plant in the Spring ? We show you how and what to grow in easy steps and  hands-on applications with sowing seeds, preparing the soil and maintenance.  Saturday 19th March 2016.

What fruit and vegetables to plant in Spring gives you a head start on the season. We run these Grow your Own workshops in the Spring, in the Summer and in the Autumn. At each workshop we look at the sowing, planting and maintenance of fruit and vegetable at that time of the year. Check out the detailed information for each workshop in Spring, Summer and Autumn.

" I was so worried about my lack of knowledge, especially as there were a few experienced people on the workshop, but I need not have worried. Francoise took the time to explain things simply and spent time sharing with each of us some beginners information as well as sharing more experienced tips. The lunch was amazing and the people I met there so friendly. Thank you, I cannot wait to get started!" Georgia Soanes, Petersfield

In this Spring course we start afresh with what can be grown during Spring - we demonstrate sowing and planting for this year but also what to plant for next year already!

We talk about inter-cropping, successional planting, rotation of the crops and perennial vegetables too. Let's not forget fruit and what bounties you can still plant up to get a summer crop.

This workshop is the start of the your growing year and we go through planting plans and the design of your garden whether it is large, small or in pots.

We look at preparing the soil and what to plant, such as:  Aubergines, Artichokes, Broad beans, Broccoli, Carrots, Cabbages, Cucumbers, Garlic, Kale, Lettuces, Onions, Parsnips, Peppers, radishes, Pumpkins and squashes, Tomatoes, Spinach and much much more!
